At the core of my philosophy of childcare is a deep passion for child development and creating opportunities for children to learn and grow in a safe and engaging environment. I draw inspiration from Montessori practices, which emphasize the importance of child-led exploration and learning. This means that I prioritize open-ended play and encourage children to follow their curiosity and interests.

I believe that children learn best when they can engage with the world around them in a hands-on way. That's why I love creating play scenes and sensory activities that allow children to use all of their senses to explore their environment. I also believe in the importance of spending lots of time outside, whether it's going for walks, playing in the backyard, or exploring nature. Being outside provides children with endless opportunities for discovery and learning.

As a teacher, my role is to create a safe and supportive environment where children feel free to take risks, make mistakes, and learn from their experiences. I celebrate our differences and believe that each child brings their own unique perspective and strengths to our community. By acknowledging and valuing these differences, I create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters growth and development for each child in my care.

I understand that it is important to ensure that every child receives ample attention and support, and I believe that one effective way to accomplish this is by keeping our group size small. In my experience, I have found that working with no more than four children at a time allows me to maintain a good ratio and provide personalized attention to each child, while also keeping their parents updated and included in the process.
